Está tan bien escrita que cuando la lees en verdad crees que es real, ya que los datos que aporta son muy cercanos a la realidad de muchas de las personas que emigran a otros países.
Es una novela muy triste pero fascinante, te hará llegar a una catarsis extraordinaria, quisiera contar la historia, pero se perdería el encanto de leerla. ES EXCELENTE

and it would be a lie to say I have educated my children... I am out of the city 2 weeks each month. And when in the city, I spend the day visiting local clients.

This book ha made wonders for my wife to educate our 3 children... She is not alone...but she os alone.

Al día siguiente, que era sábado, la pasé feliz iluminando tpdps ños dibujos...Y ya supe, por la amiga que me lo regaló, que HAY NUEVE LIBROS DE ESTA COLECCIÓN!Y MI MAMÁ ME LOS VA A PEDIR TODOS EN AMAZON si saco puro diez de calificaciones...Te los recomiendo, amiguita..Están ¿de pelos !

I give this book 4 out of 5 Stars because it does not have any pictures. I myself am a picture person. I like to see how a food I make can be displayed, and more important how it should look once done. This book has good old traditional recipes, of course once a person moves to the States certain ingrediants must change, but may of theses recipes are as close to authentic as they get. The instructions are easy enough for anyone to follow. I use this book often to make desserts for family get togethers, and the one thing I always here is, "Who taught you to make Pan Dulce, or Flan de Cafe?" Although these desserts may be easy to make but not many people take the time to continue making them when it is so easy to go a grociery store and buy something similar. Of course anything home made tastes better than store bought. It all depends on how much effort and work you want to put into it.

I went to school in Socorro and this book brought back a lot of memories. It also gave me a lot of background information about the town and the buildings. (Thanks for confirming the "rumour" that no opera has ever been held in the Garcia Opera House.)

I'm not sure that the book would appeal to an audience that is not already familiar with the Socorro (or at least the New Mexico) area, but for those of us who are -- I recommend the book.

I was also a little disappointed to find that the last half of the book was nothing but a copy of the legislative request to designate certain areas historic. That is important information, but I don't think anyone is really interested in reading the entire legal document.
